Strait Forward Episode 10 - Taiwan's Digital Diplomacy
Check out the newest episode of Strait Forward!
I'm Ylli Bajraktari, CEO of the Special Competitive Studies Project. In today’s episode of Strait Forward, hosts Channing Lee and Libby Lange are joined live at our recent AI+ Expo by Chiayo Kuo, Founder of the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association.
Strait Forward is available on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever you get your podcasts. I hope you enjoy the conversation.
In this week’s Strait Forward episode, Chiayo Kuo, founder of the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association (TDDA), discusses how her organization leverages the internet to overcome Taiwan's unique diplomatic challenges. Inspired by her experiences in Kosovo, Kuo works to connect Taiwan with international communities and empower young Taiwanese to share their stories online, free from Chinese influence. She highlights TDDA projects like "My Name, My Rights" in Norway and medical outreach in Vietnam, focusing on people-to-people connections.
Kuo also touches on her involvement with Taiwan's Whole-of-Society Defense Resilience Committee, where she focuses on digital literacy and readiness against cyber threats and cognitive warfare.
