The AI+ Biotechnology Summit is almost here!
As part of our AI+ Summit Series, SCSP is excited to partner with the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology (NSCEB) for the AI+ Biotechnology Summit, taking place on April 10th in Washington, D.C.
The AI+ Biotechnology Summit marks the release of the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology’s final report, providing strategic recommendations to guide present and future national biotechnology efforts. The event will bring together innovation leaders to showcase cutting-edge technology, explore policy recommendations, and highlight key factors essential to U.S. competitiveness in shaping a coordinated strategy for leadership in AI-enabled biotechnology.

Coursera Course Now Available!
We developed something special with our partners at Coursera. We recently launched a brand new course on their public platform, AI in National Security: Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Public Sector Missions. Over 900 people have enrolled!
Our lessons feature a range of AI experts, such as SCSP Chair Eric Schmidt, Andrew Ng, and senior national security leaders, who both demo these tools and explain their importance in operations today. This free, asynchronous course includes hands-on training with screencast examples and prepared worksheet exercises to help learners experiment with these tools on actual use cases.
This course is for everyone - whether you work in the public sector (federal, state, or local government), want to one day work in the public sector, or just want a starting point to understand what AI is and why it matters for the world today. .

We also hosted the National Laboratory Director’ Council for their AI Jam this week. It was an exciting event in our office where representatives from all 17 national labs explored advanced AI models and discussed the strategic implications of AI.
